In August, we built a pumphouse to gather the sap. It was designed to look like a sugar house and holds two totes for collecting the sap.
We ran new tubing from part of the bush that had never been tapped before and updated/replaced some old tubing to get everything to run directly into the new pumphouse.
It has a nice shelf and ample storage for tubing, taps, tools and other necessities we need around the season.
